DATE: Georgian, c.1820

An astonishing Georgian solitaire ring dating from the early 19th Century. The principal stone is an 1.92ct elongated cushion cut, with big open culet, and set in silver over foil to enhance its colour and brightness. The shoulders are modelled as acorns and oak leaves, with beautiful detailing, and it's crafted in 15 karat gold throughout.
