This ring is an absolutely stunning example of late Georgian diamonds and setting. The cushion shaped diamonds have high crowns and ovalish tables, with chunky facet patterns and open culets. The approximately 2tcw diamonds are foil backed and set in silver pie crust settings, the silver is atop 18k gold. Known as a half hoop design, this example has larger diamonds than others I have had, and a double row of them at that. In very good condition, one end diamond is a rose cut. This fabulous 18th Century example will be a center point to your collection.

Please note that you Do Not want to get foiled closed-back gems wet; it will darken the stones.

Details.....Currently a size 8.75. The top of the ring measures 7mm by 23.8mm, and the band is 1.7mm wide.
