3-Stone Scroll Design Engagement Ring

The Farah Ring is a 3-stone scroll design engagement ring from the Victorian Era, circa 1900! This three-stone ring centers an old mine cut diamond of approximately 0.43 carats, J-K color, I1 clarity. To each side is an old European cut diamond, each approximately 0.25 carats, J-K color, SI1 clarity. The diamonds are set in an 18kt yellow gold setting, which features scrolling metal work in the gallery and into the shoulders. The ring is size 7.25 and can be resized!

Why We Love It

A delightful three-stone with such classic elements! We love the finger spread that this ring provides! The diamonds are very bright and sparkling, and the scrolling details add a great antique charm! This vintage scroll engagement ring is perfect for anyone looking for the classic yellow gold and diamond combo with multiple stones and a tasteful amount of flair! A true Victorian treasure!

Gold In The Victorian Era

Victorian jewelry saw the rise of gold as the middle class began to flourish and the desire for luxury products grew. As the name of this period suggests, Britain was infatuated with Queen Victoria and her marriage to Prince Albert. The fashions of the time emulated their romance. Gold jewelry rose in popularity during the Industrial Revolution and the Gold Rush, circa 1850. Together, these two events created an abundance of metal and a number of new ways to create unique jewelry with the help of machines!

Later, the popularity of gold would give way to silver and eventually platinum designs. However, its endurance throughout the Victorian Era helped to establish its significance as a classic style for engagement and wedding jewelry. The Farah ring perfectly captures the craftsmanship of the Victorian Era, when many diamonds were still cut by hand and metalsmiths created intricate settings!
