Over the next several decades, his company earned a reputation for excellence, producing some of the most scrupulous watch movements of the era that were used by renowned companies such as Tiffany & Co. Although the company was eventually sold to Baume Mercier and later ceased production, existing C.H. Meylan watches and movements have become highly sought after by collectors.
