Dated from the 1940s, this is a very rare timepiece, it is a vintage Lyceum pocket watch.
It is a manual-winding pocket watch with an original Lyceum Watch Co. movement, caliber 23 4037, 17 jewels, sub-second, unadjusted, Swiss made.
After 80 years, this watch still features the original gold and champagne butler finish dial with gold Arabic Numerals and gold matching hands, “railroad” minute track. The sub-second hand is located at 6 o’clock. The dial is also signed with the Lyceum logo/name.
Cased in a 42.8 Keystone 14K solid gold case. It comes on a pocket watch link chain 12K gold filled and dog clip, 13”.
This is a collector piece; it is a very attractive looking watch. All in good condition! It runs very well, and it keeps great time!

We prefer to shoot photographs outside when weather is permitting. However, when we shoot indoors, please be aware that we shoot our photographs inside of lightboxes that are lit with 360 LED bulbs. This indeed magnifies any flaws. Usually, they are much less obvious to the naked eye. Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust lighting when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.
The condition is pre-owned. The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear but is fully operational and functions as intended. Please review the photos and feel free to ask any questions you may have.
